What I've Been Up To: Enjoying retirement in Tennessee. I will attend the Frank Knox (DDR-742) reunion this Sep in Chicago and will tour the German submarine (U-505) that was forced to surface during WWII off the East Coast and the Enigma was captured. A destroyer with a 19 year old Soundman (Sonarman) was on the stack tracking this sub for many hours which led to the sub surfacing. The 19 year old was promoted to Chief as a reward. Does anyone know about this story and the name of the Sonarman? Please send info to me at email@example.com or call me at 615-339-8361.
